Your Desert Basecamp
Ken's Lake Campground is a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) campground located approximately 8 miles southeast of Moab. The campground sits at the edge of Ken's Lake, offering stunning views of the La Sal Mountains - the same mountains you'll be flying from on Day 1.
The campground serves as both the goal for the Day 1 task and a convenient place to stay during the competition. Being on-site means you'll be right where the action is.

Group Campsite Included
A group campsite at Ken's Lake Campground will be reserved for all xMoab attendees. You'll have a spot waiting for you when you arrive - no need to book your own site. This shared basecamp is included with your registration.
Prefer Your Own Site?
If you'd prefer a private site instead of the group campsite, individual campsites can be reserved through Recreation.gov. We recommend booking early as Moab is a popular destination, especially during good flying season.
